The garden is located at the foothills of the Zabarwan Mountains in Srinagar.
The Tulip Garden in Srinagar, officially known as the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, is the largest tulip garden in Asia. It is famous for its vibrant display of millions of colorful tulips that bloom during the spring season.
The garden was opened in 2007 to promote tourism in Kashmir. It features terraced lawns, different varieties of tulips, and beautiful fountains. During the annual Tulip Festival (held in March–April), thousands of visitors come to enjoy the breathtaking floral views.
